Over the years, she added a 200-hour and a Children’s yoga certification to her background and uses this work to strengthen her education philosophy.
Her artwork is interdisciplinary and includes drawing, embroidery, video, photography, costume design, graphic design, interactive installation, performance, and theatre. MaryJo loves to teach her students about a variety of artists & techniques to help them hone their own voice; in fact, one of her favorite things to do is to brainstorm with people who are full of great ideas!
In 2021 she founded The Art of… to share her love of creativity and collaboration with a wider audience.
MaryJo lives in Bethlehem, PA, with her two wonderful black cats and her family. In her free time, MaryJo can be found sewing, painting, drawing, cooking, paddle boarding, writing, taking and editing photos, and spending time outside planting flowers.
